The Lake Roland Nature Council was mentioned in a Newsletter by Councilman Marks who partnered with Senator Carl Jackson regarding the volunteer cleanup of the historic Dowden Chapel. The Nature Council sent four volunteers and heavy equipment to assist in the cleaning, filling two 40-yard dumpsters. Additional photos HERE.
