Membership in the Lake Roland Nature Council is an invaluable investment that rewards all park users, and is helping to ensure a bright future for Lake Roland (park). Since its reopening in October 2011, the improvements in the park have been numerous, from the new pavilion and landscaping at the waterfall, to miles of trail repairs, trestle bridge replacement, major cleanup, species recording, educational programs, and preservation projects. Your membership will not only help maintain and enhance our shared urban treasure through these efforts, it will enable you to participate in selected organized activities at a discounted rate as well.
The Nature Council is a membership based organization, so as you decide the level of membership, remember, every dollar you give goes directly to improving the park or supporting the efforts of our tireless volunteers through needed supplies to that end. You can download our Council Membership Form (PDF).
As a membership organization, we are always looking for new, dedicated people to join in the various efforts to improve the park. If you are interested in volunteering with LRNC, you may contact committees of interest directly, or email the membership committee for information on the various volunteer opportunities available.
We thank you in advance for your support.
See you in the park!
The Membership Committee can be contacted at [email protected].
