BALTIMORE, MD – For discriminating gardeners, the Lake Roland Nature Council announced their first Autumn Native Plant Sale will on Saturday, September 17 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Lakeside Drive entrance to Lake Roland. (rain date: Sunday, September 18th, same times)

All proceeds from the sale will go to Lake Roland Nature Council for improvements at the park and to the Guilford Garden Club scholarship fund.

Difficult-to-get (and individually chosen) native perennials, grasses and shrubs will be for sale along with expert advice as to where to plant what according to your landscape conditions.

While at the sale, visitors are encouraged to check out the progress on the nearly complete Lake Roland Nature Center which will provide year-round education and meeting space near the Ranger Station.
